When the Han Chinese tell you that they hope you ... please don't confuse their "hope" with "wish". What they want to express is to arrogantly rudely tell you what you should do or how you should do. They act like your masters and rulers. And they just let you know that you are ruled and mastered by them.
That's the word of hope in the Han Chinese language, the alleged victims' language, and it is used to express their arrogance rudeness.
